Welcome to B/Medawela Primary School – The Academy of Princes and Princesses

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the B/Medawela Primary School. Our school is a nurturing learning community where every child is valued, respected, and inspired to achieve their fullest potential. Through our digital platform on www.sleducation.lk/upbmps, we are delighted to share our journey, achievements, and vision with students, parents, alumni, and the wider community.

We proudly identify ourselves as “The Academy of Princes and Princesses.” This reflects our belief that every child is unique and deserves to be treated with love, dignity, confidence, and respect. Our mission is to nurture not only academic excellence but also strong values, leadership, creativity, compassion, and good character, preparing our students to become responsible citizens of the future.

As a SMART Digital School, B/Medawela Primary School has embraced the Sri Lanka Education School Management System, enabling us to strengthen communication with parents, improve school administration, manage student information efficiently, and showcase our educational journey through our official school webpage. This digital transformation marks another important milestone in our commitment to providing quality education.

Our dedicated teachers are committed to implementing modern teaching methodologies in line with the new education reforms of Sri Lanka. Through STREAM Education and student-centred learning, we encourage creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, digital literacy, innovation, and the development of essential 21st Century Skills. We believe that every child should enjoy learning while discovering their talents and building confidence for the future.
