Welcome to B/Medagedaragama Viduhala

Although our school is a small primary school in Welimada, we are driven by a strong commitment to providing quality education and creating opportunities for every child to succeed. We believe that every child is talented and has the potential to become a confident, responsible, and compassionate citizen.

Our mission is to ensure the holistic development of every student by nurturing academic excellence, creativity, moral values, spiritual well-being, and the 21st-century skills needed for the future. Our dedicated teachers continuously adopt modern teaching methodologies, including STREAM Education (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), inquiry-based learning, project-based learning, and technology-integrated classroom practices to make learning engaging and meaningful.

We are proud to have digitalized our school through the Sri Lanka Education School Management System, enabling us to embrace modern technology and improve communication, administration, and learning experiences. Regardless of our size or challenges, we are determined to move forward by embracing innovation and educational excellence.

Our talented students continue to demonstrate their abilities in academics, sports, arts, leadership, and co-curricular activities, making us proud every day.

I sincerely thank our teachers, parents, School Development Committee, and the entire community for their continuous support. Together, we will continue building a school that prepares children to become lifelong learners and responsible global citizens.
